International Webinar: Jammu & Kashmir : 3 Years after the Abrogation of Article 370: Finding a Roadmap for Peace, Security, and Development

On August 5, 2019, In a  historic decision, India abrogated Article 370, terminating the quasi/ autonomous status of the State of Jammu and Kashmir and divided into two Union Territories. India and Pakistan have fought four wars over Jammu & Kashmir. Pakistan over the last three decades has sponsored an Islamist Militancy which has killed around One lakh people. India abrogated article  370 because it sustained the infrastructure of militancy and shielded the culture of massive corruption and poor governance. Over the last 3 years, militancy has registered a decline. However, challenges of radicalization and recruitment persist. The political vacuum and governance crisis constitute major causes of growing dissatisfaction and resentment. On the development front, substantial announcements have been made. However, their impact is yet to be seen. Let us discuss the successes and failures of India's historic decision with our panelists.

Note- We are also providing e- certificates for the Webinar.
