PMFBY (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana):

Minimum Support Price (MSP) Policy:
- Policy Reform: MSP for all mandated crops has been fixed at a minimum of 1.5 times the all-India weighted average cost of production since 2018-19, ensuring remunerative prices for farmers.
- Cumulative MSP Payout: The value of MSP procurement surged from ₹7.41 lakh crore during 2004-2014 to ₹26.32 lakh crore during 2014-2026, marking over a 3.5-fold increase in direct payments to farmers.
