Iran at War: Reshaping Power, Alliances, and Conflict in the Middle East

Usanas Foundation is organizing a  panel discussion titled "Iran at War: Reshaping Power, Alliances, and Conflict in the Middle East", scheduled for 2nd April 2026 at 04:00 PM IST.

The panel discussion examines a decisive phase in which Iran is directly challenging U.S.–Israel air power superiority through drones, missiles, and saturation strikes, signalling a shift toward asymmetric warfare that tests even the most advanced defence systems. As the conflict expands, why are Gulf and other Middle Eastern states—many not directly involved—bearing the brunt through attacks on energy infrastructure, shipping routes, and regional stability? Does this escalation reflect strategic confidence or dangerous overreach by Tehran, and can the regime sustain external confrontation amid deep internal economic stress and public discontent? Will this war lead to the decline of the US influence in the Middle East and massive changes in the regional architecture of the Middle East?
